Petitgrain has been known to be uplifting to the nervous system and has traditionally been used for nervous exhaustion and stress related symptoms.

Aromatic scent: Sweet, fresh and floral aroma similar to orange flowers with woody undertones.

Essential oils are not safe to consume and can cause significant poisoning even if small amounts are ingested.

Cats, Dogs and Essential Oils
Many essential oils are toxic to cats and dogs, whilst you may not have used them directly on your pet they can be absorbed through their fur and lungs. (ie; vaporiser mist particles landing on their coats also by the pet owner stoking their pet after handling the oils). If oils end up on the animals fur they are then ingested when the animal grooms itself.
Anise, citrus, cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, juniper, lavender, pennyroyal, peppermint, pine, tea tree, thyme, wintergreen, ylang ylang are examples of those considered to be toxic to cats & dogs.
